Terms of Service

These terms apply to the website forja.build and to the Forja service ("Forja", "we"). By creating an account, starting a trial or subscribing you agree to them. If you use Forja on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.

1. What Forja is

Forja is a platform that creates and hosts products: a website with an administration panel, user accounts, payments, e-mail, AI-assisted content, bookings and a dedicated database, each on its own address. We provide the platform, the hosting and the tooling. You provide and own the content, the data and the business behind each project.

2. Accounts and workspaces

  • You need an account (e-mail and password, or Google) to use Forja. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Every account starts with a free trial: one live project for 30 days, no card required. Trial projects that are not upgraded are archived at the end of the trial and kept for 90 days, then deleted.
  • You may invite editors and viewers to a project. You remain responsible for what they do inside it.

3. Plans, payment and cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, in advance, in euros. Prices shown include VAT where it applies; the invoice states the amount charged.
  • Each plan sets limits (number of live projects, AI generations per month, media storage). When a limit is reached the affected feature pauses until the next period or an upgrade; nothing is deleted.
  • You may cancel at any time from Billing. The subscription runs until the end of the paid period and is not renewed. Projects are then archived, not deleted, and can be restored by subscribing again.
  • Domains bought through Forja are registered in your name and renewed only while you ask us to. Domain registration fees are passed on at cost plus the amount shown before purchase and are not refundable once the registry has processed them.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail. Changes apply from your next renewal.

4. Your content and data

  • You keep all rights to the content, media, customer data and code you place in a project. You grant Forja only the licence needed to host, back up, display and process it in order to provide the service.
  • Each project has its own database. We take daily backups and keep them for 30 days. On request we will export a project's content and data in a common format.
  • You must have the right to use everything you upload, and you are the data controller for the personal data of your own customers and visitors. Forja acts as your processor for that data, under the terms of our privacy policy.
  • When you use AI features, the text or reference you submit is sent to the model provider to generate a result. Do not submit data you are not allowed to share.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Forja to host or send anything illegal, deceptive, infringing, harmful to minors, or that is spam or malware; to attack other systems; or to circumvent plan limits. We may suspend a project that puts other customers or the platform at risk, and we will tell you why.

6. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability and maintain the platform, certificates, backups and security updates. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Support is by e-mail at hello@forja.build; response times depend on your plan. Forja is provided as is, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Forja's total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue or data loss beyond the restoration of our most recent backup. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the service

You can delete your account and projects at any time from Account. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. On termination you have 30 days to export your data unless the law requires otherwise.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by e-mail at least 15 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and disputes are subject to the Irish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country.
